Kumasi, Nov. 4, GNA – MobileMoney LTD (MML), a subsidiary of MTN Ghana, has reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing the next generation of thinkers, innovators, and problem-solvers by sponsoring the 2025 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ).
The initiative forms part of the company’s goal of promoting education, youth development, and digital financial literacy across Ghana.
As part of this year’s partnership, MobileMoney LTD is sponsoring the Money Zone segment of the national championship after supporting the regional championships.
The company is rewarding participating schools with e-cash prizes and other gifts based on their performance from the quarter-final stage through to the grand finale.
Mr. Abdul-Razak Issaka Ali, Chief Commercial Operations Officer of MobileMoney LTD, speaking on the sponsorship, said the company’s collaboration with the NSMQ underscored its commitment to cultivating young talent capable of shaping Ghana’s fintech landscape.

He further noted that the sponsorship aimed to expose students to opportunities in fintech and digital innovation, while promoting responsible and secure use of digital financial services to curb fraud.
He added that, the sponsorship would also expose students to numerous opportunities within the Fintech and digital innovation space, while encouraging the responsible and secure use of digital finance services to prevent fraud.
MobileMoney LTD’s participation in the NSMQ aligns with its strategic intent to lead the delivery of digital solutions for Africa’s progress through its platform business agenda.
The company continues to create avenues for fintech players to reach a broad customer base and access its diverse range of services.
The NSMQ, Ghana’s most prestigious academic competition, has long been a symbol of academic excellence, fostering curiosity and innovation among students nationwide.
