Mr Adam noted that the educational and health projects formed part of the Assembly’s broader agenda to expand infrastructure and improve access to quality services for the people of Gushegu.

He assured residents of the government’s commitment, under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama, to reset the country and improve the lives of citizens, urging parents to prioritise the education of their children and make good use of the facilities provided.

She said “This facility has come at the right time. It will go a long way to support us in producing more qualified nurses and midwives, who will serve not only Gushegu but the Northern Region and the country at large.”

She appealed for additional infrastructure, including hostel facilities and teaching aids, to meet the increasing enrolment at the college.

The chiefs and people of the beneficiary communities expressed appreciation to the MCE and government for the projects, describing them as timely interventions that would improve access to education and healthcare delivery.
