Accra, Sept. 3, GNA – The fourth edition of the AgritechWest Africa exhibition will take place from September 19 to 20, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre.
A press release issued to the Ghana News Agency said the event would be held under the auspices of the Ministries of Food and Agriculture and Trade and Industry.
It would be co-located with the Agrochem Agro Input Ghana and Agro Process Pack Ghana exhibitions.
The exhibitions are organised by Synergice Events India, with the support of the West African Chamber of Agriculture (WACOA), Croplife Ghana, and the Association of Ghana Industries.
They are also supported by the Ghana Union of Traders Association, Food and Beverage Association of Ghana, Farmer Organisation Network of Ghana, Federation of Association of Ghanaian Exporters, Guzakuza, and several regional farmers’ cooperatives and groups.
About 100 companies from Ghana, India, Turkey, Nigeria, China, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Spain and other countries will participate.
Exhibits will cover agrochemicals, agricultural technology, irrigation, biofeeds, food processing, packaging technologies, and processed food and beverages.
The organisers said they expected about 4,000 visitors to the event.
These will include agribusiness operators, commercial and small-scale farmers, food and beverage industries, importers, distributors, retailers, and supermarkets.
The exhibitions will provide a platform for international exhibitors to meet Ghanaian and West African partners.
Growers, manufacturers, traders, and distributors will have the opportunity to explore business opportunities, introduce new products, and adopt innovative agricultural and food processing practices.
A two-day seminar and conference will run alongside the event. Ministries, departments and agencies will join farmer groups, research institutions, trade associations, and chambers of commerce to discuss innovations and current issues in the sector.
Mr Thomas James, Project Director of Agritech West Africa,Synergice Events, said the exhibition aligned with Ghana’s development goals of promoting value-added agriculture to strengthen the national economy and improve food security.
