Accra, July 8, GNA – The Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) has announced a provisional squad for the upcoming West Africa Regional Championship scheduled to take place in Nigeria from July 16 to 19, 2025.
The tournament, which promises to be competitive, would serve as a qualifier for the 2025 African Championship in Rwanda.
The players called to the men’s camp include Emmanuel Commey, Israel Aklie, James Marfo, Francis Antwi, and Godwin Alabi.
The women’s team features the likes of Cynthia Kwabi, Celia Baah-Danso, Bernice Borquaye, Eva Adom-Amankwaa, and Hilda Agbottah.
Coach David Senyo Ahiaba would lead the men’s team, while coach Eva Ampah would serve as his assistant and oversee the women’s team.
With their expertise and guidance, the Black Loopers are expected to excel at the upcoming West African Regional Championship.
Ahead of the tournament, Team Ghana would be holding a mini camp to fine-tune their skills and strategies.
