Accra, July 5, GNA – The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) College at Kyebi in the Eastern Region has donated assorted items to the Asiakwa SOS Children’s Village to support the effective running of the home.
The gesture forms part of the College’s corporate social responsibility, aimed at strengthening its relationship with communities within its operational enclave.
The donation exercise coincided with activities leading to the graduation of Cadet Intake XXIV, the first batch of trainees from the newly established GNFS College.
A release from the Public Relations Unit of the College said the delegation, led by Deputy Chief Fire Officer (DCFO) James Christian N.K. Ankrah, the Commandant, interacted with the children with messages of hope and love, encouraging them to prioritise their studies.

DCFO Ankrah assured the management of the Village of the College’s continued support, noting that it would undertake regular visits and build a long-term partnership with the home.
The management of the Asiakwa SOS Children’s Village expressed appreciation to the GNFS for the donation and pledged to deepen collaboration with the College.
