Accra, July 8, GNA – Mr. Julius Debrah, the Chief of Staff has thrown full weight behind President John Mahama’s vision to uncover raw talent and build a brighter sporting future for Ghana.
“President John Mahama’s vision is clear—to hunt talent from the grassroots and give it wings to soar. I stand with that vision, not from the sidelines, but at the very heart of it.”
Mr. Julius Debrah delivered a passionate message on the transformative impact of sports, highlighting its ability to change lives and strengthen national unity.
He affirmed that President Mahama’s bold vision is to create equal opportunities for all young people regardless of their background to unlock their full potential and achieve greatness.
“In every forgotten corner of our country, there is a young dream waiting to be discovered,” he added.
He disclosed that a national program will soon be launched under the Presidential Special initiative, aimed at identifying, nurturing, and supporting sporting talents across all disciplines.
Reflecting on the recent President’s Cup, the Chief of Staff shared that the passion, cheers, and memories it stirred nationwide.
Mr. Deborah extended sincere congratulations to Asante Kotoko on their triumph whiles applauding Hearts of Oak for showcasing remarkable sportsmanship, national pride, and excellence on the field.
“Let us find the next champion, the next leader, the next story of hope—from the streets of our constituencies to the world stage,” he said.
He further urged public and private sector officials, and the media to join the movement and contribute to inspiring hope and confidence in the next generation.
