President Mahama to unveil 24-Hour Economy Policy Document on July 2

Accra, June 27, GNA – President John Dramani Mahama will officially launch the 24-Hour Economy and Accelerated Export Development Programme on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.

The programme is designed to transform and stimulate the private sector for job creation and create prosperity for all Ghanaians.

Mr Augustus Obuadum Tanoh, Presidential Advisor for the 24-Hour Economy Secretariat, announced this during the presentation of the 24-Hour Economy Policy Document to Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, in Accra.

Mr Tanoh outlined the key components of the programme including the 24-Hour Supply Chain, Grow-Ghana, resetting the mind-set of Ghanaians, Aspire 24-Hour and Go-Ghana.

Mr Bagbin suggested that after the launch by the President, the policy document should be presented to Parliament for debate so that it would have the buy-in of all the organs of government.

It would also be an acceptable document for all Ghanaians to ensure its holistic implementation, he added.
