Accra, June 22, GNA – Accra Hearts of Oak have announced the appointment of Mas-ud Didi Dramani as the club’s new head coach.

This comes after he signed a two-year deal with the Phobians as he takes over from coach Aboubakar Ouattara, who left the club.

A statement signed by the management of Hearts of Oak explained that this change was made following a review of the 2024-25 football season.

“Following a comprehensive evaluation of the technical team and player performance in the recently concluded GPL season, the Board of Hearts of Oak has implemented strategic changes to strengthen the team.

“Effective immediately, coach Didi Dramani has been appointed head coach on a two-year contract,” the statement said.

Didi Dramani, a highly experienced coach, is anticipated to improve Hearts of Oak’s technical prowess after managing several elite clubs.

He has previously served as assistant coach of Ghana’s Black Stars and head coach of the Black Galaxies, and he has guided Kotoko to two Premier League titles.

Didi Dramani has various FIFA and CAF coaching certificates, including UEFA License B, CAF License A, and accreditation as a CAF Instructor.

“Coach Didi Dramani is scheduled to meet with the playing squad and outline his plans and philosophy.

“His immediate priority is to prepare the team for the upcoming 2025 President’s Cup and the Eko International Tournament in Nigeria,” the club statement added.
