Sunyani, (Bono), June 12, GNA – Miss Millicent Yeboah Amankwaa, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sunyani West Municipality has announced incentive package for the invigilators in the area, as this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) progresses in the constituency.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Sunyani, the MP pledged to appreciate each of the 112 invigilators with GHC500 after the five-day examination period.
She said the gesture was to inspire and appreciate the work of the invigilators, urging wealthy people and corporate organizations to support the government in her efforts to improve the condition of service of employees.
Ms Amankwaa urged the candidates to eschew all forms of examination malpractices that could lead to either the cancellation or withholding of their results and expressed the hope that the BECE would be conducted devoid of incident-free in the area.
The MP stressed her commitment to support the implementation of government policies and programmes on education in the constituency for improved learning and teaching outcomes.
