Accra, June 16, GNA – The 2025 Gong Gong Inter-Agency Fun Games held at the Aviation Social Centre brought excitement among stakeholders as they competed in various sporting disciplines.

The games brought together teams from member advertising agencies and industry partners to compete in various games that promote creativity, collaboration, and wellness within the creative community.

More than 15 advertising agencies, including PG Group, DDP, Publicis West Africa, Interactive Digital, MMRS, Mullenlowe, Dentsu, Ogilvy and Insel Communications, among others, competed in scrabble, chess, volleyball, basketball, football, ludo, and draft.

Mullenlowe were adjudged overall winners of the Inter-Agency Fun Games following fierce competition in a variety of sports.

Speaking on the sidelines of the Fun Games, Mr Andrew Ackah, President of the Advertising Association of Ghana (AAG), stated that the games were a prelude to the impending Gong Gong awards on June 28, 2025.

“These games serve as a prelude to the main Gong Gong awards, so it is a way of bringing all stakeholders in the creative space together so that we can collaborate to make the space better.

“This is a creative industry that involves a lot of arts and science, and we would like to take the opportunity to reward individuals, companies, and groups who have excelled in the creative space.

“The games were very successful, and you can see the excitement among the various agencies, and the games have come to stay after a short break,” he said.

Mr. Ackah urged agencies that are not under the AAG to come on board so that they can fight for the good of the industry.

Mr. Isaac Cudjoe, the Executive Director at AAG, expressed gratitude to all competing agencies and congratulated them for their accolades in various sporting events.

“These games have come to stay, and we are thinking of adding more advertising conferences and exhibitions in coming years, all in the bid of strengthening the unity among us. We are hopeful to make more brands join us in our celebrations, so next year promises lots of thrills,” he said.
