Sampa (Bono), May 06, GNA – Police at Sampa in the Jaman North District have arrested two suspects in connection with a lifeless body of a young man discovered on the Berekum-Sampa road in the Bono Region in the early hours of Tuesday.
A reliable police source told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the body had since been deposited at a morgue for preservation and autopsy, saying the suspects had also been put in custody, aiding investigation.
The source indicated that the body was discovered along the Ponkor portions of the stretch upon a tipoff, saying the suspects were cooperating with police investigations.
The police source indicated that their preliminary investigations suggested a foul play and urged the public to remain calm and inform the police about any development.
