Dambai (O/R), May 27, GNA – The Paramount Chief of Kpassa, Ubor Tassan Konja VI, has urged the public to disregard claims by one Nana Ayeng Anebo II, that he is the Kpassa-Wura.
The Chief and Elders of Kpassa Traditional Council have dismissed Nana Anebo’s claims as baseless, provocative and misleading.
In a statement copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Ubor Tassan Konja VI emphasised that he is the rightful chief of Kpassa and urged residents of the Oti enclave to be cautious of misinformation.
The statement referred to Ubor Tassan Konja IV as the authentic overlord of Kpassa.
The statement said, Ubor Tassan Konja IV is known as a peace maker, and the traditional council is committed to resolving the issue amicably.
It said the chiefs and elders will officially visit the Oti Regional Minister on Tuesday, May 27,2025 to clear the doubt.
The Kpassa Traditional Council has called on the public to reject Nana Anebo claims as Kpassa Wura.
It again said, the situation is expected to be clarified after the meeting with stakeholders including the Oti Regional Minister.
