Kikis Court Fan Club marks fifth anniversary with donation to Volta Regional Hospital

Hohoe (V/R), May 20, GNA – Kikis Court Fan Club (KCFC), a social-based group has marked its fifth anniversary with a donation to the Volta Regional Hospital, Hohoe in the Volta Region.

A total of 178 bedsheets covering every single bed in the regional hospital received a ‘VRH KCFC’ branded bedsheet donated to enhance healthcare delivery for patients.

Mr Daniel Kporfor, Hohoe Sector President, of the Club, said the donation marked the first in a Project to give every hospital and clinic in the Volta region bedsheets.

He said the Club had other projects it embarked on over the years such as the ‘Educational, Prison and Pad a Girl’ Projects to put smiles on faces of citizens.

Mr Kporfor said the donation of bedsheets would continue especially to health facilities within and outside the Hohoe Municipality in the coming years.

Madam Joan Dorkenoo, PR Director of the Club disclosed to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the Club established in 2020 was made up of a group of Change Networkers with the aim of ensuring welfare of its members as well as society.

She said annually, the Club comes together as a family to celebrate a year-long of togetherness.

Mr Christian Adusu-Donkor, Founder of the Club said over the years, the club had committed to supporting communities in which they found themselves and they would continue to do so in the coming years.

He emphasized that the Club was focused on changing lives, building connections, and inspiring greatness.

Madam Esther Kporwofe, Nurse Manager, Volta Regional Hospital, on receiving the items expressed gratitude on behalf of management and staff of the Hospital to the Club.

She said they would go a long way to support good healthcare delivery.
