Kadjebi (O/R), May 28, GNA – Delegates at the Kadjebi District of the Ghana National Association of Teachers’ (GNAT) election have elected new Executives to steer the affairs of the Association for four years.
The new executives include Ms. Victoria Enyonam Klugah, the District Chairperson, Mr. Edem Egbadzor, District Vice-Chairman, Mr. Deh Philip Kodwo, District Treasurer, and Mr. Dossou Bright, District Trustee.
The rest are Mr. Shadrach Oppong-Nyarko, Ibrahim Wahab, Gustav Ampofo, Ms. Priscilla Yayra Bonuedi, and Derrick Yaw Akpo, serving as the District Basic School representative, District Education and Administration representative, District SHS/SHTS representative, District GNAT-LAS, and District Youth Co-ordinator respectively.
In an acceptance speech, Ms. Klugah, expressed her appreciation to the delegates for the confidence they reposed in her and the new executives.
She pledged to work with integrity and addressed their needs for the benefit of all.
Ms. Klugah, a tutor at the Kadjebi-Asato Senior High School (KASEC) and a former GNAT Treasurer, stated that “they will bring more initiatives that will promote the association’s mission and values.”
“Together, let’s build a brighter future for our union, GNAT. Let’s work together, share ideas, and strive for excellence,” she added.
The newly elected executives were sworn into office by Mr. Kattah David, the Volta/Oti Regional Chairman of GNAT.
