Dramave (V/R), April 15, GNA – Mr Eric Opoku Agyarko, Agortime Cluster Manager of World Vision Ghana has encouraged the youth to seek career guidance in their life journey.
He said career guidance was vital for individuals to make informed decisions about their education and profession, leading to a more fulfilling and successful career path.
Mr Agyarko was speaking at a Career Day celebration organised by World Vision Ghana at Dramave, a farming community in the Agortime Ziope District of the Volta Region.
The Manager highlighted the importance of the Day as it helped the young ones to explore and envision the future they would want to have and work towards it.
He said the mission of World Vision Ghana was to help children to have life in its fullest and this they executed continuously through provision of quality education, safe water, and sanitation and hygiene.
The Manager implored young ones to believe in themselves, stay focused and be disciplined and avoid acts that had the tendency to destroy their future and retard the development.
Mr Agyarko entreated parents and caregivers to provide the necessary support to their children and guide them on the right path so they would be able achieve their visions and ambitions with ease.
Other speakers at programme including engineers, Police, and nurses, also called on the youth to make rightful choices in life to avoid jeopardising their future.
Veronica Anyomi, a Family Health Nurse at the Agortime Ziope Health Centre asked the participants to lay a strong foundation for themselves by focusing on their studies and eschewing bad companies.
Police Sergeant, Faith Afenya of the Agortime Police, charged the youth to be obedient to authorities and abide by the law of the land.
She advised them to desist from acts that were against the law because engaging in such acts could have serious consequences on their lives.
