DCE nominee pleads with Assembly Members to rally behind his nomination

Lambussie,(UW/R), April 08, GNA – Mr Naawulle Ireneous Basingbie, the Lambussie District Chief Executive (DCE) nominee has appealed to Assembly Members to endorse his nomination in order pave way for rapid development in the area. 

He emphasized that his confirmation would enable the district to facilitate the implementation of rigorous development initiatives, driving progress and growth in the enclave. 

 Mr Basingbie stressed that he was committed to boosting the district’s growth by focusing on key sectors such as agriculture, health and education. 

 He said those sectors were crucial for the district’s development, as seen in other regions where prioritization in these sectors had led to significant improvements in their areas. 

He pledged to enhance agricultural productivity and food security through sustainable practices and modern farming techniques. 

He pointed out that agriculture was the backbone of the country’s development, and it’s imperative to focus on the sector to boost sustainable development in the district and the nation. 

He stressed that his confirmation would be committed to developing educational infrastructure, promoting quality education and increasing access to educational resources in the district. 

On health the DCE nominee said he would partner and work closely with Professor Titus Kofi Beyuo, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Lambussie constituency, who is a health professional to advance the district’s developmental agenda. 

Mr Basingbie said prioritizing these sectors could help to drive growth, improve living standards and create opportunities for the district’s residents.  

He pledged to the Assembly Members that his administration would prioritize transparency, accountability and responsiveness in addressing the people’s needs. 

He promised to collaborate with Assembly Members across various electoral areas to identify and tackle challenges, driving growth and development in the district. 

” I’m committed to serving the people of Lambussie and in this regard, I will remain impartial and provide equal opportunities to all Assembly Members, regardless of their party affiliations” he emphasized. 

The nominee also pledged to promote peace, unity, and stability among residents in the district. 

The nominee thanked President John Dramani Mahama for the appointment, considering it as an opportunity to serve the people of Lambussie.
