Developing Women for Mobilization celebrates 43rd Anniversary

Accra, May 16, GNA – The Developing Women for Mobilization (DWM), formerly 31st December Women’s Movement, has marked its 43rd remarkable years of unwavering dedication to the empowerment, upliftment, and advancement of women.  

“What began as a bold vision has grown into a powerful movement that continues to inspire change and transform lives,” a statement issued by the DWM, copied to the Ghana News Agency said. 

It said over the decades, the organization had stood as a beacon of hope, resilience, and progress, amplifying women’s voices, championing their rights, and breaking down barriers across communities. 

“We salute the trailblazers who helped to lay the foundation, the tireless team who carried the mission forward and continue to do so, and the countless women whose courage and strength fuel our journey.” 

The statement said cheers to continuing their commitment to equality, dignity, and opportunity for all women.  

“The work is far from over, but together, we move forward with purpose and pride,” the statement said. 

“To our members, well-wishers, supporters and partners we say Ayekoo. We dreamt it, we planned it, and we executed it.” 

It expressed gratitude to members of DWM for their solid support.
