Dambai (O/R), March 17, GNA – Krachi East Member of Parliament (MP) Mr. Nelson Kofi Djabab, has reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing education in the constituency by providing teaching and learning materials to Basic schools.
The promise was initially made during his parliamentary campaign, where he vowed to bridge the resource gap and create a conducive learning environment for students.
Mr. Djabab had already donated over 4,000 educational materials to select schools in the constituency as part of phase one project.
Phase two is now underway, with another batch of schools receiving learning materials, further solidifying his campaign promises.
The beneficiary schools include Katanga RC JHS, Kudorkope JHS, Dormabin L/A JHS, Tokuroano Anglican JHS, Okanease JHS and KpareKpare M/A JHS.
In collaboration with Fountain Comfort Foundation (FOC), a non-governmental organization based in Accra, Mr. Djabab aims to expand the educational system within Krachi East and it’s expected the partnership will bring giant steps improvements to the education sector in the area.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), the MP assured that he would take the educational burden off parents and equip students with modern educational reforms.

Madam Comfort Akua Atta, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Fountain Comfort Foundation (FOC), expressed the company’s readiness to supply schools in Krachi East constituency with the necessary teaching and learning materials.
She said the foundation’s support is expected to complement the MP’s initiatives, providing a comprehensive approach to addressing the educational needs of Krachi East.
At the donation ceremony in Kudorkope, a fishing community, CEO of Fountain Comfort Foundation urged the beneficiary students to make good use of the books to achieve better grades in the upcoming Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
She emphasised the importance of education and encouraged the students to take their studies seriously.
