Kpone/Tema, Dec. 26, GNA – Kpone Health Centre and Tema Policlinic together recorded the birth of five babies on Christmas day.
While the Kpone Health Centre delivered four of the babies made up of three girls and a boy, the Tema Polyclinic recorded the birth of one boy.
All the babies were delivered through spontaneous vaginal delivery with no complications.
Health officials told the Ghana News Agency that the babies and their mothers were healthy.
Madam Priscilla Abubakar, a Midwife at the Kpone Health Centre, said the babies were born between the hours of 06:30 and 16:00 hours.
She added that the mothers prepared well towards the delivery before reporting to the clinic, making the deliveries successful.
