Accra, Jan. 06, GNA -Some traders have started gathering with their wares on the fringes of the Black Star Square in preparation for the Presidential inauguration.
They are putting up canopies and temporary structures to enable them to sell their goods and products.
Preparations are in high gear to host a ceremony that would attract national and international attention.
Some traders speaking to the GNA, explained that their early arrival was motivated by concerns over securing adequate space for their goods.
The event has drawn vendors from distant locations, with many traveling from Kumasi to participate in the setup activities currently underway at the inauguration grounds.
Most of the traders identified themselves as supporters of the President-elect, expressing visible excitement about the upcoming ceremony.
The traders shared varying business plans for the occasion, while many anticipate significant sales increases during the celebration, some supporters revealed they plan to distribute items free of charge as their way of marking the special day.
Meanwhile, 10 Heads of States have confirmed their participation in the inauguration
The event will host two Vice Presidents, one Speaker of Parliament, two former Presidents and several Heads of international organisations including the Commonwealth and the African Development Bank.
