Boadan, (Bono East), Oct 12, GNA-Mrs. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, the Member of Parliament for the Techiman North Constituency in the Bono East Region, has commissioned a solar-powered mechanized borehole at the Boadan community in the constituency.
She said with the facility the community members would easily access potable drinking water and also address the acute challenges confronting the community.
Speaking at a ceremony at Boadan, Mrs. Ofosu-Adjare noted that accessing clean water should not be a problem for anybody, saying that the government remained committed to extending potable water to every community.
The MP said she built the facility through her share of the MP’s Common Fund and advised the community members to take proper care of it by ensuring that the facility was maintained.
Mr. James Emmanuel, the Assembly Member for the Boadan Electoral Area, thanked the MP, and assured that the community would take proper care of the facility.
