The inspection was carried out by a joint team comprising officers from the Customs Division of the GRA, National Security operatives, personnel from the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI), and operators of the terminal.

The items were identified in the presence of the declarant, Royal Frontline Logistics Limited, and the importer, Alhassan Musah.

The container was subsequently secured with seal numbers Y008621 and 216211, pending a full physical examination scheduled for the following morning.

The seized weapons, together with the bag in which they were concealed, were transferred to the Customs Division Collection Armoury for safekeeping and further investigation.
