My victory is a victory for Ho Central Constituency – Agbee

By Emmanuel Nyatsikor, GNA

Ho, Oct. 29 GNA – Mr Mawunyo Agbee, the newly elected Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Ho Central Constituency Tuesday stated that his victory was for no individual or a group of supporters but a victory for the Constituency and the Party.

He said it was also a renewed mandate to serve with humility, organize structures of the grassroots of the party, promote accountability and work tirelessly for the collective interest of members of the party.

Mr Agbee stated this in a letter of appreciation to members of the party in the Ho Central Constituency and sighted by the Ghana News Agency in Ho.

“Every delegate who voted for us, every member who campaigned for us, every individual who offered us encouragement and everyone who stood with us throughout this journey, we are grateful.

“With hearts full of gratitude I say thank you. Your support, confidence and commitment have made this victory possible,” he noted.

Mr Agbee stated that he was extending an open arm to every member including those who supported other candidates to join hands with him to increase the support base of the party.

He continued that there should be no winners or losers among them because they are one family united by one purpose and driven by one common goal.

“As we look forward to election 2028, the task before us is clear, rebuild where necessary, strengthen our branches, reconnect with our grassroots and mobilize our supporters.

“We should also resolve our differences through dialogue and work together to secure the future we desire,” he stated.

The Chairman entreated members in the Constituency to replace division with unity, words with actions, and individual interests with collective progress.

“Every branch matters, every member matters and every effort counts,” said.

Mr Agbee stated that the Ho Central Constituency should rise stronger and more united after the election than before, well organized and ready for the task ahead.

“Let us turn this victory into a meaningful action and prepare diligently for 2028,” he noted.
