Ho, Oct 15, GNA- Mr Bright Kwashie Ege, Volta Regional Secretary aspirant of the National Democratic Congress has appealed to delegates for their support to secure a resounding victory for the party’s great vision.

Speaking to Ghana News Agency after he officially filed his nomination, he said as captured in the party’s Reset Agenda, the Volta Regional Secretariat under his stewardship would pioneer visionary initiatives including executive welfare protection, decentralising party administration into sustainable commercial ventures under the “Party as a Business” model, infrastructural development for constituency offices, and strict party discipline.

“Together, with unwavering dedication and unified strength, we will build a stronger, more vibrant party. I humbly ask for your support as we march forward to secure a resounding victory for our great vision!”

Mr Ege said he had “firmly placed his hand on the plow to serve,” noting he successfully managed the secretariat as acting Regional Secretary and Deputy Regional Secretary without leaving a vacuum.

The acting Regional Secretary, who has two other contestants, Mr Pascal Agbagba and Dr Stanley Nelvis Glate contesting him for the position said he “steps forward with a proven record of administrative excellence, loyalty and deep respect for party structures.”

“No trial, no error – just trusted leadership, steady hands, and total dedication to victory!”

Mr Elliot Wogbe, Deputy Regional Organiser who is seeking a reelection urged delegates to vote based on his record of service in the region.

He said his works as Deputy Regional Organiser over the past four years qualified him to be retained in the upcoming election scheduled for next month, describing himself as a caring, hardworking and accessible leader.

“To be in power and be a messenger is better than to be in opposition as a Deputy Organiser,” he stated, asking delegates to assess whether he failed them or went to sleep after being voted for, stressing that he had always remained present and active.

Mr Wogbe appealed to any party member he might have inadvertently offended in the course of duty to pardon him and put the interest of the party first, adding, “Continue to trust in me. Think about the party and retain me.”
