Twifo Praso (C/R), Oct 26, GNA – Mr Hakeem Adae, the newly elected National Democratic Congress (NDC) Chairman for Twifo Atti-Morkwa Constituency, has pledged to use his position, alongside his role as a member of the Council of State, to promote development and strengthen the party in the constituency.

Mr Adae said he would work closely with Mr Isaac Yawson, the District Chief Executive (DCE) and other stakeholders to advance development initiatives in the Area.

He made the pledge after Mrs Priscilla Otoo Serebo, an official of the Electoral Commission, declared him the winner in the chairmanship election race.

Mrs Sara Ampofo, the newly elected Constituency Women’s Organiser, called on all contestants and their supporters to solve their differences, unite and work together to strengthen the party and ensure its success in 2028.

Mr Benjamin Coleman, the newly elected Constituency Communications Officer, also pledged to rebuild and strengthen the party’s communications team to effectively communicate its policies and programmes ahead of the 2028 general elections.

He expressed confidence that a stronger communications team would help the NDC prepare adequately to face the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2028 elections.
