Benchema (WN/R), Oct. 23, GNA – A vehicle which was abandoned on the Benchema stretch of the Benchema-Oseikojokrom road in the Juaboso District for about one year has finally been removed after a Ghana News Agency report.

Some Okada riders expressed gratitude to the Ghana News Agency over the development, saying they are now relieved since the danger it posed was no more.

Mr Samuel Agyekum, the Assembly Member for the Sayerano Electoral Area, who spoke to the Ghana News Agency in September this year concerning the abandoned vehicle, also expressed gratitude to the GNA for its prompt report on the vehicle which he believed has yielded positive results for motorists and other road users.

He appealed to the Ghana News Agency to report on other issues in the area for national attention.

It would be recalled that the Ghana News Agency filed a story in September this year concerning an abandoned vehicle on the  Benchema-Oseikojokrom highway for more than a year with no information about the driver or owner of the vehicle.
