Twifo Kotokye (C/R), Sept 22, GNA- Mr Gabriel Adomakoh, the Community Chairman of the Twifo Kotokye-Kyerekum Electoral Area in the Twifo Atti-Morkwa District of the Central Region, is appealing for support for the Twifo Kotokye D/A Basic School with infrastructure and furniture.
The appeal urgently goes to the government, non-government organisations (NGOs) and other benevolent individuals to support furniture and a Kindergarten (KG) block, the absence of which is making teaching and learning difficult for both teachers and pupils.
Mr Adomakoh made the appeal during the distribution of exercise books, pens and pencils to pupils in the electoral area.
He explained that the lack of adequate furniture was compelling some pupils to learn under difficult conditions and called on stakeholders to support the school with the needed facilities.
On behalf of the beneficiaries, Mr Daniel Hartle, a teacher of Twifo Kotokye D/A Basic School, expressed appreciation to the community chairman for the donation and appealed for additional support for the school.
He said the school needed furniture for both the primary and the Junior High School (JHS) sections, and urged individuals, organisations and other stakeholders to come to the aid of the school.
He appealed to all stakeholders to help improve the learning environment at Twifo Kotokye D/A Basic School to enhance effective teaching and learning.
