Baldissero d’Alba, Sept 23. (Redazione/Adnkronos/GNA) -“I had thieves in my house and I defended myself. I wounded a thief, I don’t know if he’s dead. I was scared, I did it alone, I had the gun”.
These were the words spoken by Roberto Mollo, a 35-year-old man who killed a thief in the courtyard of his property in Baldissero d’Alba, in the province of Cuneo, during the phone call made to the police on Sunday night.
He continued, “They are armed, I shot them, I defended myself, I live here alone, I’m in a farmhouse… here in the countryside.”
The police asked him to stay calm, and advised him not to touch anything. “No, no, I’m not touching anything. I’m outside, I have the gun here, it’s unloaded.”
