Giuseppe Marchese, pediatrician Asst Valcamonica, Brescia, spoke at the conference “Article 32: the right to breathe.
He said it was also for this reason that “we pediatricians say that adult and elderly chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), can have its roots already in pediatric age.”
The paediatrician said there were children, who develop asthma very early and, in some cases, even in severe form.
