Sunyani (Bono), Sept. 15, GNA – The Middle-Belt Zone of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM) has presented educational materials to some Senior High School (SHS) students from 14 districts of the Deeper Life Bible Church (DLBC).
The teaching and learning materials comprised 400 exercise books, 200 pens, 200 notebooks, and provisions, and were presented to both freshers and continuing students.
Speaking at a short ceremony in Sunyani, Pastor Promise Bright Karikari, Administrator of the Middle-Belt Zone of the DCLM, said the gesture was to motivate the students and lessen the financial burden on their families.
He explained that the Zone comprised DLBC branches in the Bono, Bono East and Ahafo regions, and expressed the hope that the materials would contribute significantly to improved learning outcomes.
Pastor Karikari advised the students to remain focused and concentrate on their studies, stressing that, besides spiritual development, the church remained committed to promoting the welfare of its members and the less privileged in society.
He emphasised that quality education remained the surest legacy families and the church could bequeath to the youth and urged the beneficiaries to be studious and justify the investments being made in their education.
Pastor Karikari wished the students God’s blessings in their academic pursuits and urged them to build and deepen their faith in God and work towards a better future for themselves, their families and the church.
Some of the beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the church for assistance and pledged to study hard and achieve high academic laurels.
