Kumasi. Sept. 14. GNA – The Anidaso Mutual Fund (AMF) PLC has recorded significant improvement in investment income from GHC 457,916.00 in 2024 to GHS 563,064.00 in 2025, a 22.96 percent increase.
This improvement was supported by stronger interest income and a significant increase in dividend income from GHS 39,963.00 in 2024 to GHS 93,522.00 in 2025.
Interest income increased from GHS 417,954.00 to GHS 469,542.00.
Most Rev. Archbishop Prof. Daniel Yinka Sarfo, the Chairperson of AMF PLC, made these known at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of shareholders of the fund in Kumasi.
The AGM afforded the stakeholders the opportunity to deliberate on the performance of the fund during the financial year and approve remuneration for the directors.
Most Rev. Yinka Sarfo mentioned again that, the fund’s Net Income also improve considerably, increasing by 31.14 percent from GHS 229,037.00 in 2024 to GHS 300,360.00 in 2025.
Additionally, the Fund’s Net Assets increased during the year under review, rising from GHS 4.27 million in 2024 to GHS 6.31 million in 2025, representing a growth of approximately 47.7 percent.
Most Rev. Yinka Sarfo further indicated that, equally encouraging was the movement in Net Asset Value (NAV) per share, which increased from GHS 1,3227.00 in 2024 to GHS 1,6820.00 in 2025, representing an increase of 27.2 percent.
According to the chairman, the improvement was particularly important to the fund because the ultimate measure of their success was the value they create for their shareholders.
He was quick to mention that process from shares increased from GHS 784,309.00 in 2024 to GHS 1,481,028.00 in 2025, adding that growth in redemption was also encouraging.
He therefore, pledged the commitment of the Board and Management of the fund to continue to focus on strengthening investor communication, improving service delivery, broadening investor base and ensuring that stakeholders received timely and transparent information about the performance of their investments.
He added that management remained conscious of the need to manage operation cost prudently, ensure stronger investment performance and disciplined cost management and efficient operations.
Most Rev. Yinka Sarfo noted that, management of the fund would continue to pursue improvements on operational efficiency, technology, investor service and internal controls, as the fund grows.
He said the fund remained committed to maintaining high standards of corporate governance, accountability and regulatory compliance.
They also recognise the responsibility of safeguarding assets of the fund, maintaining appropriate internal controls and taking responsible steps to prevent and detract fraud and other irregularities.
Mr. Edward Asamoah, AMF PLC Manager, said the country’s economy recorded improvement in micro economic conditions in 2025, making a notable transition from economic stabilization towards recovery and renewed investor confidence.
He said inflation recorded remarkable decline and the Ghana cedi recorded a remarkable turnaround in the previous year and this represented important development for investors.
Mr. Asamoah said a strong market performance had a direct impact on the AMF’s investment portfolio and a major contributor to the funds unrealized investment gains.
He said the fund managers would intensify efforts to grow, deepen investor education and expand their reach to both existing and prospective investors.
“We will fully embrace appropriate digital channels to boost growth and efforts, as well as manage the fund with discipline, prudence and clear focus on the interest of their shareholders.” he stressed.
