Agona Swedru (C/R), Sept 14, GNA – The Agona West Municipal Office of the Zoomlion Company has disinfected the final disposal site, refuse container sites, cluster of schools and residence of government officials in Agona West and Gomoa Central Districts.Â
Some of the public institutions disinfected include National Health Insurance Authority office, cluster of public schools in Gomoa Afransi, the Municipal Chief Executive’s bungalow, Department of Environmental Health and Sanitation offices, Agona West Municipal Assembly offices and many others.
Mr Christian Ocran, Agona West Municipal Manager of Zoomlion Company told the GNA that the exercise formed part of the company’s routine exercises in the Municipality and Gomoa Central District to rid the area of communicable diseases.
Mr Ocran hinted that Zoomlion disinfected all refuse container sites to reduce bacteria and infections and gave the assurance that the company would continue to collaborate with MMDAs to help achieve aims and objectives to keep the environment clean.
He said the company was doing everything possible to carry out its obligations and responsibilities to ensure public safety and offer unwavering support to the three administrative Districts; Gomoa Central, Agona West and Agona East to stem environmental pollution.
