Accra, Aug. 31, GNA – The State Interest and Governance Authority (SIGA) 2025 report indicates that State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) for the first time in four years recorded a net profit of GHS 19.8 billion.
Mr Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Presidential Spokesman and Minister of State in-charge of Government Communications who disclosed in a statement copied to the Ghana News Agency, said the SIGA report also revealed that in 2024, Ghana’s SOEs recorded a total net loss of GHS 2.25 billion.
“They recorded four consecutive years of losses up to that point. In 2025, the SOEs recorded a net profit of GHS 19.8 billion,” the Minister stated in a statement.
He said the SOEs also recorded GHS 176.43 billion in revenue in 2025 as against GHS 137.64 billion in 2024, representing a 28.12 per cent increase.
