Tadzewu (V/R), Aug. 13, GNA – Mr Eric Edem Agbana, Member of Parliament (MP) for Ketu North and President of Nukuku Football Club, has announced plans for the official unveiling of the club’s partners, board and management.
The playing squad and official jerseys ahead of its maiden season in the Access Bank Division One League will also be announced.
Mr Agbana said the unveiling would take place on Friday, September 4, as the club prepares to make its debut in the second tier of Ghanaian football.
He said the occasion would mark an important milestone in the development of the club, which he described as a project driven by resilience, ambition and a long-term vision for football development.
“This project is very dear to my heart. What started as a subject of mockery has been transformed into a beautiful story of resilience, ambition and purpose—a legacy we hope generations will cherish,” he said.
Mr Agbana said Nukuku FC was established not merely as a football club, but as a platform to identify, nurture and provide opportunities for young football talents.
He said the club’s progress from its early challenges to earning promotion to the Division One League demonstrated what could be achieved through determination, commitment and a clear vision.
“We are unveiling the future. This is more than a football club. It is a vision that’s taking shape,” Mr Agbana said.
He expressed optimism that the club’s maiden Division One League campaign would provide a platform for young players from Ketu North and beyond to develop their talents and pursue professional football careers.
The unveiling is expected to bring together the club’s partners, officials, players, supporters and other stakeholders as Nukuku FC begins preparations for its historic campaign in the Division One League.
The unveiling also forms parts of the Tadzewu Based Club’s preparation towards their maiden Access Bank Division One League.
