Dambai (O/R), Aug 21, GNA – Mr Isaiah Kudjoe Dordoe, the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Nkwanta North, has held an Accountability Meeting with key party stakeholders in the district to brief them on his stewardship and ongoing development initiatives.
The engagement brought together Regional and Constituency Executives, former party executives, former DCEs, former Election Directorate members, current Election Directorate members, Assembly Members, Ward Coordinators and the District Communicator.
The meeting provided a platform for the DCE to account for his stewardship and update the stakeholders on the progress of government programmes and development projects being implemented across the district.
Mr Dordoe highlighted key interventions in areas including road development, potable water supply, education, electricity and other initiatives aimed at improving the living conditions of residents.
He said the engagement was also intended to strengthen collaboration between the Assembly and party stakeholders and ensure that concerns affecting communities were identified and addressed collectively.
The various stakeholders used the opportunity to raise concerns, seek clarification and make suggestions on issues relating to the development of the district and the effective implementation of government programmes.
Mr Dordoe expressed appreciation to the party executives and other stakeholders for their continued support and cooperation and called for unity and commitment towards the development agenda of the government.
He assured the gathering that he would continue to engage regularly with party stakeholders and other relevant actors to find practical solutions to the challenges confronting communities in the district.
The DCE urged the stakeholders to work together and maintain open channels of communication to promote peace, unity and development in Nkwanta North.
The meeting ended with a renewed commitment by the stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and collective responsibility in advancing the development of the district.
The party executives, after the engagement, expressed confidence in the leadership of Mr Dordoe, describing the Accountability Meeting as a positive initiative that provided them with an opportunity to deliberate on development issues and matters concerning the party.
They commended the DCE for his openness and willingness to engage stakeholders and encouraged him to sustain the initiative to promote transparency, unity and effective governance in the district.
