Aflao (V/R), Aug. 24, GNA – GlobeServe Ministries International is set to mark its 30th anniversary with a grand four-day celebration from August 27 to 30, 2026, at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale.
The anniversary celebration would bring together all church leaders, members, partners, friends, and well-wishers to commemorate three decades of ministry, service, and the transformation of lives through the Gospel.
Revend Samuel Anthony Kofi Dunya, Founder and President of the Church, told the Ghana News Agency, in an interview that, GlobeServe Ministries International was founded by Rev. Samuel Anthony Kofi Dunya and his wife, Mrs Jonhild Dunya, with the ministry’s humble beginnings traced to Magic Adidome in the Volta Region.
“Over the past 30 years, the ministry has grown significantly, expanding its impact across communities while remaining steadfast in its commitment to its Christian mission of transforming lives,” he said.
He explained that the 30th anniversary celebration would be held under the theme, “Celebrating God’s Faithfulness and Advancing the Mission,” with the overarching message; “Honouring Our Past, Celebrating Our Present, Believing for Our Future.”
Rev. Dunya described the anniversary not merely as a milestone, but as a testimony of God’s faithfulness, grace, and guidance throughout the ministry’s three decades of existence.
“The four-day programme will feature both morning and evening sessions from August 27 to 30, with prominent ministers and dignitaries expected to grace the various sessions.”
Rev. Mawuli Vinyo, General Secretary of the church, said Rev. Philip Tutu as well as Special Guest Speaker, Pastor Wayne James, would be among the key ministers to take part in the various sessions of the anniversary celebration.
He emphasised that the ministry has extended an invitation to the general public, partners, friends and members of the GlobeServe family to join the celebration and give thanks to God for His goodness, the lives transformed and the communities impacted through its ministry over the years.
Organisers also said that the four-day event promised to be a spiritually uplifting experience, bringing together the GlobeServe family from within and outside Tamale to reflect on the ministry’s journey and rededicated themselves to its continued growth.
As GlobeServe Ministries International celebrates 30 years of faithful service, all the branches in the Volta Region as well as across the country are expected to grace the anniversary to advance to the mission of the church and continue the service to God and humanity.
