By Frank Kwame Abbor

Ho, Aug. 17, GNA – Mr Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah, Member of Parliament (MP) for Ho West, has initiated immediate gravelling and reshaping works on the Dzolokpuita-Saviefe Agorkpo Junction road to ease movement and improve accessibility.

The intervention, being undertaken on deplorable sections of the road, is expected to provide temporary relief to residents, motorists, farmers, traders and other road users while arrangements are made for the full rehabilitation of the stretch.

The works involve the application of gravel and the reshaping of critical sections to improve the road surface and make it more motorable, particularly for vehicles transporting farm produce and passengers.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Mr Bedzrah said the intervention was necessary to address the immediate challenges confronting residents while efforts continued towards the full rehabilitation of the road under Phase II of the Government’s Big Push Programme.

He said improving the road network remained a priority, given its importance to the movement of people, agricultural produce, goods and services among communities within the Ho West Constituency.

The MP said he would continue to engage the relevant authorities to secure the necessary support for the comprehensive rehabilitation of the road.

Residents and other road users have welcomed the intervention, saying improved access would ease transportation challenges and support economic activities in Dzolokpuita, Saviefe Agorkpo and adjoining communities.

Mr Bedzrah reaffirmed his commitment to pursuing infrastructure interventions that would improve living conditions and promote socio-economic development across the Ho West Constituency.
