BEIJING, Aug. 17.(Xinhua/GNA) – An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3, jolted Western Caroline Islands, Micronesia at 2253 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 9.67 degrees north latitude and 138.42 degrees east longitude.
