Vemezuela, July 5,(Vsn/Adnkronos/GNA) At least seven journalists and communication operators, died as a result of the earthquakes that hit the Venezuelan coast on June 24.
This was reported by the National Press Workers Union (SNTP), identifying the victims as JosĂ© Ăngel Rivero, SinaĂ Rivas, Oriana Guedez, Lissi Contreras, Javier JosĂ© RodrĂguez, Emilys Sarache and Adriany Matute, in a toll that fits into the largest number of almost 3,000 deaths recorded so far.
The SNTP also reported that journalists Mauren Elena Morillo, Ernesto GarcĂa, Carmen Helena Valdivieso and Melissa de Sousa Visconti are still missing.
In a statement released on social media, the union expressed condolence and solidarity with the families of the victims, adding to closely follow the search operations and hoping for the discovery of the missing.
