By Laudia Anyorkor Nunoo

Accra, July 02, GNA-Christian professionals, entrepreneurs, business executives and ministry leaders from across Africa, the Middle East and beyond will gather in Ghana from August 6 to 9 for the 2026 Lausanne Workplace Forum.

The forum, organised by the Lausanne Movement, which will be held at the Pentecost Convention Centre at Gomoa Fetteh in the Central Region, will explore how faith could positively influence workplaces and national development.

A statement issued by the organisers said the event would provide a platform for participants to discuss ethical leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, workplace discipleship, stewardship, technology and the future of work.

It noted that the forum was being organised at a time when many countries were confronting challenges such as corruption, economic uncertainty, youth unemployment, technological disruption, and declining public confidence in institutions.

It said the discussions would focus on equipping Christians to apply biblical values in their professions and contribute meaningfully to national and societal transformation.

Topics to be discussed include faith and resilience during economic uncertainty, ethics and integrity in the workplace, leadership, entrepreneurship, workplace discipleship, generosity and stewardship, and the role of technology in shaping the future of work.

According to the organisers, participants would include professionals from sectors such as business, education, healthcare, engineering, law, public service, the creative industry and ministry, who would share experiences on applying faith-based principles in their workplaces.

The statement described the forum as part of the Lausanne Movement’s global effort to strengthen collaboration among Christian professionals and encourage ethical leadership across all sectors of society.

The forum would feature speakers including Apostle Eric Nyamekye, Chairman of the Church of Pentecost; Dr Joshua Bogunjoko, Global Director for Regions of the Lausanne Movement; Mr Femi Adeleye, an African workplace leadership specialist; and other experts.

The Lausanne Movement, established in 1974, is an international network that connects Christian leaders and professionals to promote collaboration and leadership development in advancing the Christian faith across different spheres of society.
