Berlin, July 7, (dpa/GNA) – The Ukrainian armed forces say, they have attacked and damaged several tankers belonging to the Russian shadow fleet in the Sea of Azov.
A total of eight tankers were targeted in the nighttime drone attack, Robert Browdi, head of the drone forces, announced on Telegram on Tuesday. He added that the ships are now unable to manoeuvre. “The battle for fuel for Crimea in the Sea of Azov continues,” he wrote. There was no comment on this from the Russian side, and it was not possible to obtain independent confirmation.
Browdi wrote that a dry-cargo ship and a ferry were also hit during the attack.
