UNICEF organizes a two-day training workshop for ADCPC members

Adaklu Waya (V/R), June 10, GNA – United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF) in collaboration with the Volta Regional Department of Community Development and the Adaklu District Assembly is organizing a two-day training workshop for members of the Adaklu District Child Protection Committee (ADCPC). 

The workshop is scheduled for Adaklu Waya on June 10th and 11th June. 

This was contained in an invitation letter signed by Mr Sylvester Kodzo Ayittey, the District Coordinating Director. 

The letter, which was titled “Invitation to a two-day training workshop on child protection toolkit facilitation” was copied to the Ghana News Agency. 

The letter stated that the training was aimed at strengthening participants’ knowledge and practical skills in the use of toolkits to support effective child protection response activities. 

It said it would also provide an opportunity for experience sharing and discussions on best practices in child protection issues. 

The letter requested all committee members to make themselves available to attend and actively contribute to the discussions.
