Over 120 ships pass through Strait of Hormuz in 2 days – US Energy Secretary

Moscow, June 21 (RIA Novosti/GNA) – More than 120 vessels passed through the Strait of Hormuz in the past two days, US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright said on Sunday.

“Well, 55 ships two days ago, as you said, 67 went through yesterday. On oil and oil products, volumes [are] about equal to where we were before the war,” Wright told ABC News.

Overnight into June 18, Iran and the United States remotely signed the memorandum that provides for an end to the military conflict that began on February 28.

The document also sets timelines for the US to lift its naval blockade of Iranian ports and for Iran to restore shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
