Accra, June 5, GNA – Mr Patrick Yaw Boamah, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Okaikwei Central, has renewed his annual donation to the Christian Council of Ghana (CCG) with 250 packs of bottled water.
The donation, presented on Friday, fulfilled the MP’s pledge to support the Council’s work annually.
Nana Agyei Kodie, a representative of the MP, said the gesture demonstrated Mr Boamah’s commitment to supporting faith-based institutions.
“The gesture will be done annually to support the Christian Council of Ghana,” he stated, adding that it reflects the MP’s dedication to community and national service.
Reverend Enoch Nii Narh Thompson, the Chairman of the Christian Council Ghana, received the items on behalf of the Council and expressed gratitude for the MP’s consistent support.
“On behalf of the Council, we want to say a big thank you to Honourable Patrick Boamah for his desire and commitment to support the work of the Council by providing water last year, this year, and we look forward to that being a pattern in the years to come,” he said.
“Water is life, and Ghana needs life. This symbolic donation will also encourage us in our prayers for the nation and for him,” Rev. Thompson Fayose added.
He assured the MP of the Council’s continued prayers and counseling support whenever needed.

In 2025, the CCG appointed Mr Boamah as Ambassador for the annual Christian Home Week Celebrations.
The week-long event was organised by the Council to promote the sanctity and purpose of marriage and family life in Ghana.
Mr Boamah’s appointment recognised his dedication to promoting the welfare of families and communities through his philanthropic initiatives.
