MP Donates GHS60,000 to Support Medical Outreach in Nkwanta South 

Nkwanta (O/R), June 21, GNA – Mr Geoffrey Kini, Member of Parliament for the Nkwanta South Constituency in the Oti Region, has supported a medical outreach team providing healthcare services to residents in his area with GHc60,000.  

The outreach programme, led by Dr Koku Awoonor Williams, Technical Advisor to the Ministry of Health, was to strengthen the team’s efforts to improve healthcare delivery in the constituency.  

The MP commended the team for its dedication, commitment and exceptional service to the people, noting that its efforts continued to make a meaningful impact on access to quality healthcare in the area.  

He particularly praised Dr Koku Awoonor Williams for initiating the medical outreach programme and urged him to continue supporting the hospital and the people of the constituency.  

Receiving the donation, Dr Williams expressed gratitude to the MP for his contribution towards the success of the programme and the wellbeing of residents.  

He also pledged his continued support to help upgrade the hospital to a standard that meets international best practices.  

Mr Kini was accompanied by the Municipal Chief Executive for Nkwanta South, Mr Joseph Awal Antwi, and other party members during the visit.
