Techiman (Bono East), June 18, GNA – Mr Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, Member of Parliament for Techiman South in the Bono East Region, has handed over a newly constructed three-unit classroom block to the Hansua K-Twi Model Junior High School in the Techiman Municipality.
He said he funded the construction of the facility to help reduce classroom congestion and facilitate effective teaching and learning, thereby improving students’ academic performance.
Speaking at a ceremony at Hansua, Mr Korsah said the school benefited from the project due to its high student enrolment, which had led to overcrowding in classrooms.
The MP said he had prioritised quality education and remained committed to improving educational infrastructure and the learning environment in basic schools within the constituency.
Mr Korsah pledged to collaborate with education stakeholders in the area to enhance academic performance, adding that he would continue to serve his constituents with humility and diligence.
Nana Apenteng Fosu Gyeabour, Chief of Hansua and Bamuhene of the Techiman Traditional Area, commended the MP for his contributions to the development of education in the area.
