Ancona, June 21, (Red-Cro/Adnkronos/GNA) – The Quaestor of the province of Ancona, has warned against a 40-year-old man against abusing and intimidating his former partner.
The man, kept intimidating his former partner through text messages, as well as physical abuse, which had her needing medical attention.
In another case, law enforcement had to intervene because the woman had seen the man repeatedly stalked his former partner at her workplace.
The quaestor issued the measure of prevention against man, inviting him to conduct himself in accordance with the law and to refrain from committing similar conduct in the future.
“It is important to remember that, as is also explicitly communicated to the recipient of the measure at the time of notification, if an already admonished subject continues to harass the injured party, the conduct becomes prosecutable ex officio by the Law Enforcement, without the need for a specific lawsuit” the police said in a statement.
There are 40 warnings issued by the Chief Quaestor from 1 January 2026 to today.
