Sunyani, (Bono), June 22, GNA – The Right Reverend Dr Festus Yeboah Asuamah, Anglican Bishop of the Sunyani Diocese, has urged fathers to nurture their children in a godly and responsible manner to help build a better society.Â
In a statement issued to mark Father’s Day, he emphasised that the divine role of fathers in shaping families, communities, and society remained unparalleled.Â
A copy of the statement, made available to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Sunyani on Monday, said fathers remained pillars of strength, providers of guidance, and exemplars of perseverance.Â
“As we mark Father’s Day, we also commend, celebrate and honour deserving fathers, grandfathers, and father figures whose love, sacrifice, wisdom, and dedication continue to shape families and communities,” it added.Â
The statement noted that through their hard work, care, and commitment, fathers helped nurture future generations and contributed to building a better society.Â
It urged fathers to continue providing for the needs of their families and to build godly homes that would attract divine blessings.Â
