Accra, May 12, GNA-The Ghana International Trade and Finance Conference will on Wednesday, 13th May 2026, host a high level Brunch and Second Donor Meeting aimed at mobilizing strategic resources and sustainable support for the implementation of the GITFiC Agenda 2031.The meeting, according to a statement copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Tuesday said will bring together development partners, public and private sector institutions, financial institutions, policy experts, and key stakeholders committed to advancing the GITFiC Agenda 2031.
The statement said Mr Seth Terkper, the Presidential Advisor on economy and a former Minister of Finance will be given the keynote address.
The GITFiC Agenda 2031 is a forward-looking framework designed to promote inclusive economic growth through GITFiCs’ Global Debt Initiative and the AfCFTA Support Initiatives, capacity building, and strategic policy dialogue.
The initiative, according to the statement aligned strongly with continental and global development aspirations, including the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and sustainable financing mechanisms for Africa’s future and prosperity.
The meeting will provide an opportunity for stakeholders to review progress made under the Agenda 2031, discuss priority interventions, and explore collaborative financing opportunities to scale impact across key sectors of Ghana, Africa and the Global South Economies.
“The Chief of Staff has delegated the Presidential Advisor on Economy and former Finance Minister, Honorable Seth Terkper to address the meeting on behalf of the government of Ghana”, the statement added.
It said GITFiC remained committed to promoting dialogue and actionable partnerships that contributed to Africa’s economic integration and prosperity through the GITFiC Agenda 2031.
