Ho, May 12, GNA-Mr Stephen Adom, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Ho Municipal Assembly, has announced measures being taken to repair the faulty traffic lights at the KK House intersection in Ho.
According to the MCE on May 11, 2026, efforts to restore the traffic lights had been delayed due to the unavailability of some critical replacement parts within Ghana.
Speaking to Ghana News Agency (GNA), He explained that the necessary components were currently being sourced from outside the country to facilitate the repair works and restore normal traffic operations at the busy intersection.
Mr Adom assured residents and road users that the Assembly was working diligently to address the situation as quickly as possible to improve road safety and ease vehicular movement.
“As we work toward fixing the traffic lights, we appeal to motorists and pedestrians to exercise patience and remain cautious when using the road,” he stated.
The MCE disclosed that police personnel had been deployed to the area to manage traffic and reduce congestion until the repair works were completed.
He urged drivers to obey traffic directions from officers on duty and avoid reckless driving that could endanger lives.
Residents and commuters have raised concerns over the faulty traffic lights in recent weeks, citing increasing traffic congestion and safety risks at the intersection.
The Assembly reiterated its commitment to ensuring safe and efficient traffic management within the municipality.
